Student Internship Reflection

| | Comments ()
Each summer, our St. Louis and Washington DC offices get some fresh faces!  Student interns spend the summer doing everything from attending congressional hearings to working with the editorial staff of a publication called the Education Reporter.

Emily Hammon, a junior at Baylor University, spent her past summer at our Washington DC office.

"As an Eagle Forum Intern, I had the privilege of attending meetings at the legislative, educational events, and was allowed to speak about the superb principles of Eagle Forum.  I am very appreciative of the wonderful opportunities I have been given.  I had my eyes opened to our ability to make a difference.  I came determined to do my best, but now I believe a dedicated individual who is persistent can make a difference in history."
